THE NUTCRACKER: TRADITION! Our next performance December 17, 2022 Meaford Hall

Fleet-Wood is proud to present The Nutcracker every two years with students of the Fleet-Wood Dance Company and professional staff and alumni. In 2019 Meaford Hall showcased two sold out performances ending with standing ovations. Dancers from five years to adult showed off four months of hard work.

THE NUTCRACKER SCHOOL TOURS! TRADITION!

Dancers launched the production by performing at six local schools before hundreds of children who also got to join in making sound affects. Some boys got to try their best marching!!

RIGHT OF PASSAGE: TRADITION!

Paige Nancekivell first performed The Nutcracker at the age of 5, but on the Dec 12, 2019 she took the stage as The Sugar Plum Fairy at 17. Many Fleet-Wood students have enjoyed this “right of passage” and enjoy dancing all the different roles through their years at Fleet-Wood.

CHRISTMAS LIVING WINDOWS: Tradition!!

Every year dancers enjoy performing mini ballets in the store front windows of Historic Downtown Collingwood. Dressed in the beautiful costumes of The Nutcracker, dancers perform in decorated Christmas Windows, and when the snow is also falling, there is nothing more magical!!
